Recent Commission for
The Crown Estate, London, UK Completed 2006
In the summer of 2005, the Crown Estate approached me to do a painting of their offices on Carlton House Terrace. The building, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, is of significant architectural relevance on the inside and out. A series of watercolor options were presented to the client. The final large format oil painting was presented in March 2006 and is on display in the new Crown Estate Headquarters Building on Regents Street in London, UK. Limited edition prints of the original were made as a gift for each employee.
The paintng captures a memory of what it was like to approach the building each day.
